Product Categories

Sets listed on this page are specifically built for, and will

only fit the Czechoslovakian VZ58 AK variant. Since the

VZ58 is a unique variant, amongst the more common AK

types, we do not have a receiver picture posted like all of

our other AK pages. We assume that if you are on this

page, you know what you have.

Wood type options

We try to keep 3-4 pre-cut sets in European Beech

wood, in stock. European Beech is the correct wood

type for VZ58 rifles. All other wood types are cut to

order.

Base Model Features:

   original mounting cap, or with a larger rear

   tab, for those replacing bakelite lowers

   that had no rear cap. Mounting pin slot not

   drilled. Customer will have to cut notch.

Czechoslovakian VZ58 stock sets

Base model VZ58 set

These are temporary photos of our new VZ58 stock parts. The parts shown in the raw are the new parts we have manufactured, (shown in European Beech wood). All other parts are original, and are shown for comparison only. We do not offer these finished. Hardware is only pictured to show correct fit. We do not sell or have any VZ58 hardware.

We have created a new US made, accurate reproduction VZ58 stock set. Small

changes were made to improve the original VZ design. All parts were made a little

thicker, as the original VZ parts are very slight in build. The lower hand guard was

made .1” thicker overall, to add more strength and size. We also made an optional

extended length pistol grip, ( 3/8” longer), to improve grip feel. These are the sets we

are currently offering. More details listed below under the base set features.

PISTOL GRIP OPTION

From left to right, our new cap cut VZ lower, original

The non-cap cut lower is for VZs that came with a

bakelite lower, that did not come with the rear mtg.cap.

This non-cap cut version has a larger tab of wood at the

rear that will fit the VZ receiver, without the cap.

Part #LHG-VZ-NC

Lower hand guard rear tabs may require very minor fitting. Cross slots are not cut for the mounting pin, and must be done by the customer.

We do not cut the cross slot as this spec on your VZ58 may not be exactly the same as our de-milled test fit VZ58.
