NEW CUSTOM CUT-TO-ORDER PAGE

We are trying something new here at Ironwood Designs. This new page will allow you to order an “any way you want it” set, and allow us the time needed to address

custom orders. Our goal is to keep in stock, more of our std. sets, in specific wood types, so that those orders can be turned around much faster. Our new custom

order system will help us separate our std. set orders from Custom orders that typically take longer to process. Thus, custom orders will have a longer turnaround

time to allow us the extra time required for additional CNC set-ups and for custom programming. It will also allow time to acquire wood types that we may not stock,

or that take longer to get in house. Even though Custom order delivery times will be longer, the delivery times will be more accurate.

Allow up to 4-6 weeks for any Cut-To-Order set. In some cases, it will be less. These times are necessary for us to maintain a smooth production cycle.

CUT-TO-ORDER (CTO) INSTRUCTIONS: If you follow this method, it will be a very simple process.

1.From Home page, choose your product category from the links posted on the left side of the page.
2.List the std. model set part # from that page, this will specify the AK receiver type you are ordering for. Add (CTO) to part #, so we know it is a custom order.
3.Back to Custom page, list the Part # for the butt, grip, upper & lower hand guard, and any other options you want. List each price. Shipping is $13 for a single set.
4.List the wood type you want. List a 2nd choice for wood type should we be out of stock (Wood Types page). Wood availability varies mostly for non std. types.
5.GO TO ORDER PAGE, Read the Order Page thoroughly before ordering. It is very simple, if you read it.
6.Double check your order, (part #s, prices & options). Once we have started cutting parts, we cannot change the order.

This Cut-Order-Page only applies to STAMPED RECEIVER AKs & MAK MILLED ANGLE CUT AKs. It does not apply to Yugoslavian, Czech VZ, or any Bulgarian

or Polish milled 2 tang receiver AKs. Additional Links posted at bottom of page for information regarding hardware sources, receiver identification, wood types, etc.

BUTT STOCKS FOR STAMPED RECEIVER AKs & MAK MILLED ANGLE CUT #400 sets

Our AKM Russian pattern butt stock is our std. model, that can be ordered to

fit most AK stamped receiver variants, and, for the 1 tang MAK milled AK.

In std. format, it will be 9 3/4” from receiver rearward, cut for a side mounted

sling swivel, and cut for a std. smooth backed trapdoor butt plate, as shown.

Trapdoor cut not available for MAK milled angle cut stock set, (#400 set).

Additional option such as extended length butt plate cut, recoil pad, bottom

swivel location, and AK74 lightening cuts are listed below.

Receiver type, (Your AK!), must be listed. You can refer to our Tech Page,

Receiver Identification Page, or, to our std. set pages, to properly list your

AK type.

This model butt stock, CANNOT BE ORDERED for any Yugoslavian AK,

Czech VZ, or any Bulgarian, Polish milled receiver AK.

All of the above posted pistol grips, when ordered for stamped receiver AK, will be drilled at the correct mtg. screw angle, and will mount properly to that receiver.

Saiga 12 and Saiga .308 conversion sets will not accept any of these lower hand guards. Do not order these for Saiga 12 or .308.
