Sets listed on this page fit the Egyptian Maadi angle cut cut receiver. These models were designated MISR.

Due to the typical bad tolerances on these specific Maadi

AKs, wood to metal fit between the angled portion of the

stock and receiver will most likely vary, and require fitting.

Sets will only be sold with this understanding. We do not

stock these butt stocks. This is a cut to order part.

All of the above listed pistol grip upgrades come with upper steel ferrule cap, and mounting screw bushing, (scroll down to hardware for pictures).

Std. grips as shown in base model set, are drilled for shorter MAK grip screws. Above listed pistol grips drilled for std. length pistol grips screws.

The non-Chinese hand guards do not require any additional hardware, and mount like the factory original, (very minor fitting required).

Cleaning rod holes are drilled on request only, as most post ban MAK AKs did not have the cleaning rod hole in the hand guard retaining cap.

All pistol grip upgrades on this page, include the grip cap and mounting screw bushing shown above.

All sling swivel cuts, on side or bottom,

are cut to accept original East European

swivels.

Example of MAK pistol grip screw and lug that came on all thumbhole sporter stocks. These are shorter that all other AK grip screws.

Butt stocks can be ordered to fit Bulgarian or

East German plates. Please specify the plate

Set posted above is actually a MAK stamped angle cut set. We have made literally less than a dozen of the MISR angel cut sets over the years, and did not have any on hand to photograph. Angle cut portion of stock is similar to MISR. Please refer to picture at top of page for better photo of the butt stock angle.
