Sets listed on this page fit Bulgarian Milled 1 & 2 tang receivers.

Will also fit Chinese, US made, and other traditional 2 tang milled

AK receivers.


Bulgarian 1 tang receivers were originally the traditional 2 tang type. The lower tang was removed to fit the post-ban thumb-hole sporter stocks.

Single tang receiver lower hand guards automatically come without the rear ferrule cap cut found on original Bulgarian wood lower hand guards.

Most single tang Bulgarians came with a plastic lower hand guard, which does not have the original rear cap.

If you have an original Bulgarian wood lower hand guard, with the rear ferrule cap, make sure to add the note: LHG-T3-CC

If you do not have the original wood lower, and have a plastic lower, order the lower as LHG-T3-NC, for no cap cut.

EXTENDED BUTT PLATE CUT add Part# EXT-BP No Charge (these options apply to both 1 & 2 tang sets)

Sets sold unfinished, clean sanded to 150 grit.

Available wood types for this set include, Birch Laminate (LAM), Beech (BE), Hardwood Birch (BI), Maple (MA), and Walnut (W).

Walnut sets are always cut to order, to ensure they come from the same blank. The other listed hardwoods vary in pre-cut supply, and can also be cut to order.

BASE MODEL 4 piece stock set comes with a correct Bulgarian

pattern butt stock. Both 1 & 2 tang butt is cut to accept an original

AK steel butt plate, and a military sling swivel, (side mounted).

Due to special mounting bolt, 1 tang model is not cut for cleaning

kit pocket.

Special mtg. bolt &lug, (included with set), shown below. Bolt &

lug only required for single tang Bulgarian receiver. Butt plate

information posted below as well.

production cycle, custom orders can take from 4-5 weeks for turnaround time.

All Bulgarian milled butt stocks are cut and fitted for standard butt plates. Plates without trapdoor holes are

recommended for the single tang models as they will cover the hole for the special mtg. bolt. Trap door plates can be

used, but the trapdoor will not open. A slot can be cut in the rear of the butt to allow installation of the trapdoor plate.

Butt stocks can be ordered to fit Bulgarian (far left), East German (middle), or std. trap door plate

(right). Please make sure specify the plate you are going to use, at time of order.
