ATTENTION, PLEASE READ

I’m sure that to majority of you know what’s been going on in the firearms industry since November 2012.

Demand is exceeding supply by an astronomical amount. Even though we are manufacturing unregulated

products, and we do not have any raw materials supply issues, we are experiencing unprecedented amounts

of orders for our products. We have been way over capacity since January, and have done everything in our

power to keep up with this surge. Unfortunately, our delivery times have steadily increased week by week.

Most of the delays is due to the fact that about 80% of the orders we receive, have custom upgrade & options

ordered. Over the last 4 months, we have been selling and producing just about every product we offer, with every

possibly option, in every available wood type. This has slowed things down for us quite a bit.


Current turnaround times are between 6-8 weeks, SOMETIMES MORE. If you cannot wait this long for your

order, please wait until things calm down. If you sell your rifle, while waiting for your stock set, there will be no

refund. Sorry, I just can’t waste any more time and resources dealing with actions that the customer puts into play.

We are not simply pulling parts off the shelves to complete orders. Right now, everything is made to order, and we

have hundreds of orders to complete. If you absolutely cannot wait, please hold off until demand slows up.


EMAIL ISSUES: I am begging my customers to PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE, READ what is posted on

this site. And PLEEEEEEEASE use the damn links at the left, that are on every page of the site, to find the

product type you are looking for. If I get one more “Do you sell individual butt stocks, or just the upper lower

hand guard set”, I am going to snap. Use the that little wheel on your mouse, make the page go up and down.

Or, just look LEFT, and there they are, all of the links to all the parts and sets we sell. If you are on my site, then

there is no reason why you cannot find this information.


Please do not email me part #s that you had pulled from the site, and then ask me to price it. If you were able to find

the part # you needed, then the price is right next to it.


I personally spend between 4-5 hours daily, answering email. Because it piles up so fast, I barely make a dent in it. WE NEED YOU, the Customer, TO WORK WITH US. Please keep your email inquiries brief and to the point.

Help us keep our time focused on producing parts and shipping orders. We will always take the time to assist with

orders, but if you, the Customer, can do the simple link clicking on our site, then it will ease our email nightmare.


There, I’m done, I’ve vented. This has been a very stressful time for us here at Ironwood Designs. I do want to

thank all of our customers for their much appreciated business and patience. We will continue to put out quality

US made stock products, at the fastest pace that we can maintain. Keep writing and fighting the idiots in Power.

The Shellac based finish, is applied by hand, with brush,

just like the Soviets did. 4 coats are applied, with a steel wool

buffing applied before the last coat, to achieve a semi-gloss

sheen. The ends and internals are left unfinished, to replicate

original Soviet finish application. This option will be gradually

added to our set and parts pages. All you need to do is add
